Our Story
The idea for Sahara Grill was born from a deep love of Mediterranean cuisine and a desire to share these authentic flavors with the Miami community. Our family has been passionate about Mediterranean cooking for generations, and we saw an opportunity to bring these traditional recipes to University Park in Westchester, South Miami.
Our location near FIU was intentional - we wanted to be part of the vibrant, diverse community that surrounds the university, offering students, faculty, and local residents a place to experience authentic Mediterranean cuisine in a warm, welcoming environment.
HALAL DISCLAIMER
We source 100% Halal meat (chicken, beef, and lamb) but we are NOT a 'certified' halal restaurant due to serving dairy items, not having a separate kitchen/prep area/utensils for dairy, and being open during prayer times and Islamic holidays.
